The name of Haryana instantly conjures up the image of a State which astonishingly combines both-antiquity and plenty. The Vedic land of Haryana has been a cradle of Indian culture and civilization. Haryana which was formed on 1st. of Nov. 1966 is one of the youngest State with a total area of 44212 Sq. Kms. divided in 22 districts, which is 1.3% of the total area of the Country. This is land where Lord Krishna gave the immortal message of BHAGWAD GEETA to mankind of spirituality and rightful living. No wonder with its rich spiritual and culture heritage, Haryana has made great strides in all spheres of human endeavor irrespective of whether it is industry or agriculture, medicine or education and has come to be reckoned as a developed progressive State. The industries, agricultural sectors, tourist spots, medical institutions and educational facilities flourishing in the State vouch for this.

Preamble : The Council of Homoeopathic System of Medicine, Haryana was established and constituted to regulate the qualification and to provide for the registration of practitioners of the Homoeopathic System of Medicine in the State of Haryana.

Articles / Memorandum Of Association : The Council of Homoeopathic System of Medicine Haryana was established and constituted for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of the Punjab Homoeopathic Practitioners Act, 1965 vide notification dated 31st March, 1970 consisting of seven members and later on expanded vide notification dated 4.2.1972 consisting of eleven members including its Chairman under section 3 of the Punjab Homoeopathic Practitioners Act, 1965. Total number of members of the Council is eleven including its Chairman. Out of 11 members, three members are nominated by the State Government and 8 members are elected from amongst the registered Homoeopathic Practitioners under sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Punjab Homoeopathic Practitioners Act 1965. Fourth time election of the 8 members of the Council has been conducted under the Haryana Homoeopathic Practitioners (Election) Rules, 1985.
